Cha worked in finance for 20+ years (Citibank in New York, Sydney and Honolulu, Yasuda Trust Bank in Tokyo, Board Member to Asian Merchant Bank and CEO of Lone Star Real Estate Funds in Seoul). And, since 2008, Cha has focused his career on net zero and the three pillars of sustainability in real estate: (1) social (2) environmental and (3) local economic development.

In our Decade of Action 2021-2030, let us strive together toward the UN SDG’s and Climate Action through the development of healthy, resilient, carbon neutral communities. With rapid global urbanization where millions of people continue to migrate into our cities every week, we need to build and manage better cities. The rapid development of sustainable mixed-use “live, work, play, heal & learn” communities to accelerate the decoupling of economic development from GHG emissions and pollution is critical.
